2 Kings 23:25 "And
like unto him was there no king before him, that turned to the Lord with all
his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the
law of Moses; neither after him arose there any like him."
Our characters need to be
unique in order to be memorable. Stereotypes simply will not do.
In fiction, our characters
may be ordinary, but we must give them something that makes them stand out. The
reader will wonder why she is bothering to read about someone if they are
boring or pointless.
Even more important will
be the people we choose when we are writing nonfiction articles. They need to be
one of a kind characters, too.
