Genesis 47:22 "Only the land of the priests bought he not; for the priests had a portion assigned them of Pharaoh, and did eat their portion which Pharaoh gave them: wherefore they sold not their lands."
One way to make characters
unique is to give them a soft spot—something beyond a weakness that guides
their actions and decisions. It’s not only villains, other characters can benefit.
The soft spot can be a
fondness for a pet, a certain kind of car, a person, or anything that can be
used to deepen the character and further the plot.
