Ezekiel 22:14 "Can
thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal
with thee? I the Lord have spoken it, and will do it."
One of the ways to move a
story’s plot along is for our characters to make wrong choices. Those wrong
choices have consequences just as right choices do.
But the consequences of
the wrong choices should be to get them into more trouble. More trouble leads
to more conflict.
More conflict forces our
characters to act to make things right again. The wrong choices that a
character makes will depend on what kind of person the character is—what kinds
of hang-ups or blind spots they have.
